This has been a year filled with fails. So as 2010 comes to a close, I would like to salute the idiots that kept me thoroughly entertained.

10. DESTRUCTION OF THE HUB LAWN

The HUB Lawn used to be so beautiful! It was a nice calm place for ALL the pale people at Penn State to lay, and get their tan on. But our president decided it would be a good idea to destroy that lawn to put up a Biobehavioral Health Building. Boo Graham Spanier, Boo.

9. SNOOKI'S HALLOWEEN COSTUME
This bitch was a pickle. She's getting paid an obnoxious amount, and she could've been ANYTHING. But she chose to be a pickle.

8. DIRTY MONEY


Every time I look at this group I can't help but ask myself, "how hungry is Diddy?". Life can't be THAT rough that he needs to join this broke group. Shouldn't he be behind some desk somewhere? Or idk, RETIRED?! Please Diddy. Stop. As for Dawn, quit.

7. PARIS HILTON COCAINE INCIDENT


On August 27th Paris Hilton had a run in with the law, and was charged with felony cocaine possesion. At the time of the incident Paris claimed that the purse was not hers and that she believed the cocaine was gum. Gum? Gum?! Now we all know you're not the brightest bulb Paris, you've made plenty of poor life choices before this (One Night in Paris DVD). But I KNOW, you know your cocaine.

6. Terrelle Pryor Suspension


Terrelle's probably crying again. Which makes my soul happy :] But seriously he made a really stupid decision. He should've never sold his awards. What sucks the most is that he sold them for something as trivial as tattoos. Seriously Cryor?--er--i mean Pryor? Are you really so hungry that you need to sell your Big Ten Championship ring? Shame. Shame on you and your entire program.

5. THE INTERVENTION CRYING VIDEO

4. JON & KATE BREAKUP

I loved the show, and I was so upset when they broke up. And then the whole thing turned into this crazy, freak, relationship. All of sudden Jon's dating 12 year olds (and by 12 I mean women who are significantly younger than he is), and he's traveling the world with Ed Hardy. Then Kate gets rid of her porcupine hair and throws extensions on that beast. Now I hate them. I feel bad for their kids.

3. MILEY AND HER BONG


I wasn't even that surprised that a video like this surfaced. What did surprise me was the fact that she was clever enough to say that it was salvia (which is a legal substance). I mean she might be telling the truth, then again she might lying. How are we supposed to know? Bravo Miley, bravo.

2. Tiger Woods Scandal


This story was talked about for MONTHSSS!! But it never gets old! Tiger cheated on his wife (who subsequently beat him for it) with not 1, not 2, not 3, oh no not 4, but like 13 different women! I was sooo surprised!! I mean i didn't know Tiger knew what the word cheat meant. Then again I've never met Tiger, but his image was so church boy it was ridiculous. And then on top of that he checked himself into rehab for being a sex addict!! This story was just so ridiculous. Anywho, I thought the whole ordeal was pretty funny. So now it's on the list.

1. BP OIL SPILL



This was sooo frustrating!! Just to watch that much oil spew out into the ocean was depressing. And it took sooo long for them to put a cap on it. This was definitely a huge deal this year, and it got a lot of coverage. And it was something that definitely affected a lot of countries, and businesses. I personally get so angry every time I drive by a BP station. The BP oil spill was definitely the biggest fail of 2010!

Bring On 2011!!

I am so happy! This has been a really great Christmas and I got almost everything I wanted!
Now that Christmas is winding down it's time to focus on the New Year! Here are my 11 New Year Resolutions for 2011!

2011 RESOLUTIONS

1. Have a resolution. [check]
2. Make Dean's List again.
3. Call my parents even when I don't need something.
4. Lose my chapstick and swipe card less.
5. Check facebook less.
6. Complete every item on my study abroad (London) bucket list!
7. Come up with more convincing stories as to why I can't show up to work.
8. Wear dresses...that don't double as shirts.
9. Watch more ESPN.
10. Online shop only twice a month.
11. Have more fun.

Can't wait for the New Year it's def. going to be sooo much fun. Especially since!!...well that's for the New Year :D

So in spirit of the holidays I completely revamped my blog! I hope you all love it! AND I incorporated Mean Girls! I'm pretty great, i know :]

I'm Back!!...Again!

Ok so I've been missing for a while, BUT my semester is FINALLY over!! And my hiatus was well worth it! I got 4 A's and a B+, also known as Dean's List material!! :D
So it goes without saying that I'm super excited! I also don't have any finals to study for! So I devoted my night to updating my iPod with great music duh!

Honestly didn't bother listening to Rihanna's new album entitle "Loud" til tonight lolol I really love a lot of the songs. This song is tres sexual. Like this song is sex. Just sayen.

Ok, so after looking through my old iPod and listening to Like Me again, I was curious as to what the group has been doing with their life lately. So I found this song Maniac. I don't think it's the greatest song in the world but it's something that you can dance to.

I kinda love this song, and I never got around to downloading. This song makes me wish I was from Pennsylvania lolol That and I really like Wiz :]


The Cool Kids: A Little Bit Cooler
"I'm a rebel. Eatin a bowl of them Fruity Pebbles" lolol This was def. one of my favorite songs my senior year of high school. This song was on my old iPod and I'm FINALLY re-downloading it. I really love The Cool Kids and I love songs with lots of bass.

When I was listening to this on YouTube a user commented "I think i just had an EARection" lmfaoo Just thought I'd share that lol I really like the sample and the beat. And I've also kinda been obsessed with Chiddy Bang since I saw them in concert, so...yep.

1st Generation iPod Nano

So i was searching for an iPod connector last night and i found my old iPod. See my first iPod met it's demise after two years. It just got stuck on hold. So i wasn't able to scroll around and browse for songs. I was able to play it on my iPod dock, but it was useless when it came to being portable, which is kind of the point of an iPod. It was so frustrating. Anyways, I found the iPod and i was curious as to what I was obsessed with before Kid Cudi. I found a treasure trove of songs that I haven't listened to since 2008. Which (although it doesn't feel like it) was a long time ago. And i must say I had very great taste in music lol and I might've been a little emo hahah. So I've pretty much been jammin' out (i promise never to use that phrase again)to a lot of old tunes, and i'm going to share them with you guys :]

Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood is a remake of the well known children's story Little Red Riding Hood. Amanda Seyfried will be playing the role of the main character and the movie is being directed by the director of Twilight.

It's a very interesting take on the story. It was actually brought to my attention by a friend of mine, Nick, that the movie seems to be very Twilight-esque. After watching the trailer I have to agree. This movie is way more sexually charged than the children's story, Little Red isn't visiting her grandmother, and she seems to be in love with the wolf (who in the movie is a werewolf). I'm not entirely sure about how I feel about the movie yet, but I think I'm going to see it.

He works out, likes to party, loves sports and is constantly pursuing the ladies. He is without a doubt your everyday guy, which is why I sat down with him to discuss why guys do the things they do. I met with girls and gathered some questions that they’ve always wanted the answer to.
T: Hey Dan.
D: Hey, what’s up?
T: Not much. Are you ready?
D: Completely prepared to represent the male sex.
T: Haha, great. What is the official rule for calling/texting a girl when she gives you her number?
D: Well, I mean there’s the cliché wait three days rule. But really, it all depends on how desperate the guy is. And I guess it also depends on how much he likes the girl. And sometimes it could be a combination of both. If it’s the first time meeting the girl and you’re really desperate, call immediately. If it’s the first time meeting her and you felt like there was a connection on both ends, wait a week…or longer. You really have to feel it out.
T: So the more you’re into her, the longer you wait?
D: Yup.
T: Doesn’t that seem backwards?
D: No. You don’t want to seem desperate or needy if you actually like the girl, and you want it to go somewhere. What girl wants a needy guy?
T: Haha ok, so it sometimes seems as if guys still poke fun at girls when they like them. Is this something widely done among guys in college?
D: Absolutely. Making a girl feel bad about herself is not just a tactic used in first grade. It’s definitely still used now…of course it’s slightly more evolved.
T: How is it possible that you believe that you can make fun of a girl and still get her to like you?
D: Well, like I said it’s a little more evolved. It’s not like a group of people surrounding her and making her cry. It’s just; you say something funny and slightly insulting. The goal is to get her to laugh at herself. Once you’ve gotten her to laugh at herself you’re in there.
T: Wow. So what’s your rule for lying for your friends?
D: Do it. Always.
T: What if your friend is wrong?
D: It doesn’t matter, it’s your friend. He’s never wrong.
T: What if your two friends, a guy and a girl, are dating? The guy does something wrong. What do you do then, if they’re both your friends?
D: Bros before hoes.
T: Haha, fair enough. How much do guys actually share with each other?
D: More than a lot of people may think actually. I mean we share differently than girls do. Girls talk more about their feelings. Guys, we talk about our actions; things we’ve done.
T: Could you give me a few core rules that guys live by?
D: Sure. Uhm number one, bros before hoes. Two, if you like her don’t call her. Three, always lie for your friends. And four, be the best wingman you can be.
T: Rules to live by.
D: Fo sho.

Man on the Moon II: Legend of Mr. Rager Review

Hey guys!!!
So I'm going to make this post as unbiased/objective as I can.



Kid Cudi's sophomore album Man on the Moon II: Legend of Mr. Rager,is an extremely artistic, experimental, trippy album.
It's one of those albums you have to listen to a few times before actually loving it. Each song has a different theme and if you really listen to what Cudi's saying you get a deeper insight into his actual feelings and inner workings. It's no secret that Cudi is a big user of weed and shrooms, and his use of them is very apparent in some tracks. An example of one very trippy 70's song is Ghost!, which is also my favorite song on the album.

Overall the album is great. It took a completely different turn from his first album which was very spacey, techno, and upbeat. This album is much darker. I highly recommend it.

How Ironic...

So for my article writing class I had to write a service piece on Love in college.
Not just regular old love, but how to deal with Long distance relationships.
Lmfaoooo my life is a f*cking tragedy.
Here it is:

FINDING LOVE IN COLLEGE: LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS

Long distance relationships are, without a doubt, the most difficult relationship to be apart of. This is especially true for a college student due to the everyday temptations we face. But if you follow these 4 easy steps you will learn how to make your long distance relationship a little easier.

1. Download ooVoo. The hardest part about being in a long distance relationship is the fact that you can't see each other everyday; ooVoo solves this problem. ooVoo is a downloadable computer program that allows you to video chat with anyone in the world. ooVoo even has a feature that allows you to leave video messages for your significant other when he or she isn't at their computer.

2. Send random, thoughtful gifts. Sending a random gift to your significant other isn't just a nice gesture. It shows that you were thinking about him/her and acted upon those thoughts. An example of a thoughtful gift would be a movie package. Get a box and put your significant others favorite DVD in. Fill it with his/her favorite popcorn, and candy. You can even put a cute picture of yourself in!

3. DON'T text all day. One of the biggest mistakes students make during their long distance relationship is constant contact. Texting your significant other all day isn't sweet or romantic. It's ANNOYING.

4. Trust them...or at least try. Constantly accusing your significant other of cheating will most definitely lead to a break up. You're both in college and there will always be temptation. You have to trust that your significant other is as committed as you are. If you find it extremely difficult to do so then you have to seriously ask yourself why you're in a relationship with you someone you absolutely don't trust.

6. halloween has come and gone. what was my costume you ask? slut. super easy actually...get it? easy? bahahahaa. but really all pride and dignity gone. my profile pic proves it.
7. i woke up on november 3rd and realized that i've changed completely as a person. and people i know, no longer know me.
8. i'm not sad or regretful about the above statement.

I love this song. Kid Cudi is my favorite to begin with, but then to have Cage on it?! It's a wrap. This song was made specifically for me. It's so dark and weird and so f*cking creative. Love Kid & Cage individually. Obsessed with them together. Oh! and Kid Cudi's album drops on Nov. 9th! So look out for that!


Mac Miller [Don't Mind if I Do]

This is another song that's been on replay. It makes me feel happy lol That sounds kind of artificial when discussing music, but that's what it does. It makes me feel happy about being young and living the lifestyle I do. So I love listening to it.


XV ft. Wiz Khalifa [Gobstopper]

Ok so I really like Wiz Khalifa and I'm starting to get into XV. I absolutely love this song! I really like songs with heavy bass, I like when music makes the room shake lmao So I think that's what really attracted me to this song.

Kid Cudi has...a kid?

Apparently he does. According to Cudi, his daughter Vada (who's mother he's no longer with) was born March 26th of this year. He decided to keep her existence under wraps, but came clean to Complex magazine.
"Her name is Vada, and she's f*cking awesome. That was eating me up, and it was stressing me out that nobody knew about her."
In the article he goes on to describe how he felt about becoming a father, how the birth of seven month old Vada has changed him, and his hopes for the future.

It's time to talk about movies that I can't wait to see!!
You may have heard of them already but you may not have either so here they are!

Black Swan

Black Swan is the movie that will finally earn Natalie Portman her well overdue Oscar. I seriously honestly believe that she will win the Oscar for this movie. Black Swan features the aforementioned Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, and Winona Ryder.
This dark tale is about a ballerina named Nina (Natalie Portman) who lives in New York City with her ex-ballerina mother. Nina's dance company is putting on a production of Swan Lake and is replacing their lead aka the swan. Nina is the first choice but she has a little competition. You see in order to play the swan you must be able to embody the gracefulness and innocence of the white swan and the mysteriousness and sensuality of the black swan. Nina fully encompasses the role of the white swan but Lily (Mila Kunis) her competition is the perfect black swan. So throughout the movie Nina tries to tap into her inner black swan. This leads her to participate in risky behavior which could prove to ruin her chances altogether.

The Tourist

I'm very excited about this movie. Usually I'm not hype about Angelina Jolie because (despite the positive light the media throws on her and Brad's relationship)she is nothing more than a home wrecker. I don't care if Brad and Jen's relationship was crumbling she should have had the decency to wait until after it was officially over. Ok enough ranting. I'm really excited about this movie because despite Angelina's shadiness she is an extremely large star and for the first time ever she's going to be sharing the big screen with THE Johnny Depp!!! I don't know how or why the movie world never thought to put these two together in a movie before! Anyways I'm absolutely in love with Mr. Depp and I'm really excited to see the chemistry between the two. I sincerely hope that Jolie can keep it in her pants because this man is married and has like three kids.

Ok so a guy named Frank (Johnny :]) goes to Venice due to some recent love problems, when he "accidentally" meets a woman named Elise. She's extremely interesting and mysterious and he begins to pursue her. But very soon he finds that he and Elise are being pursued. It's a nice action, adventure, romance movie. Book Review: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is the first novel in Stieg Larsson’s extremely popular and widely acclaimed trilogy. The novel has two main characters: Mikael Blomkvist who is a forty something reporter and editor for a small paper named Millennium, and Lisbeth Salander an abused and introverted investigator who looks many years younger than her actual twenty-two.
Blomkvist is charged with libel in a very high profile case very early on in the novel and leaves Millennium to figure out his life before serving his prison sentence. It is at this time that he is approached by the ailing corporate tycoon Henrik Vanger, and is asked to write Henrik’s biography while secretly trying to figure out what really happened to his niece Harriet Vanger, who disappeared without a trace almost forty years ago.

Meanwhile Lisbeth Salander is, due to her fantastic investigative skill and her extremely in depth reports, Milton Security’s best investigator. So when Blomkvist makes a break in the forty year old case and needs a partner, it comes as no shock (to the reader at least) that he turns to Salander.

Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is a seductive, well written, revamped murder mystery. Hello all! I've finally finished reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and it was amazing!! I highly recommend that everyone in the world read it :] For me the first 150 pages were really slow but once you get past that bump it's really a quick read.

So since I'm so hype about the book right now I decided to do a quick post (I have to head to class in a bit) about the upcoming movie! So there is already a movie (the swedish version i believe) of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo out, but an American version will be coming out soon.
I'm definitely going to watch the swedish version first (via netflix)because I feel like it'll be a little more true to the book.

Alabama isn't actually hype, because I'm sure that they're more than confident that they're going to beat us (as am I), but they are very relevant this week. Cudder Update :D

The release of Kid Cudi's highly anticipated (well highly anticipated by me & a few others) album "Cudder and the Revolution of Evolution" is right around the corner!

There are officially three songs from this album that have been released...well sorta. I believe two have been "leaked" and one has be legitimately released.
The official single for "Cudder and the Revolution of Evolution" is Erase me ft. Kanye West. This song is really rock like. It's not my favorite song, but I don't hate it. Take a listen :D


One of the songs that was leaked is REVOFEV which is the shortened version of REVoluion OF EVolution. I've already done a post on this song, so if you want to hear it look on the left hand side of my blog and search the archives.

The next song that was leaked is N The Evening ft. In Doe. Now I'm not completely positive that this song is going to be on the album, but I seriously hope it is because I do like it a lot. Here it is:



Now not only did Mr. Cudi release the first single off of his upcoming album, he also released one of the first official pictures from the album. I don't believe that this picture will be the album cover, but it is rumored that it will appear somewhere in the album. If you're facebook friends with me then this pic is old news since I did post it on my wall a few days ago. But here it is again :D

Devil

I am very much into scary movies, and Devil looks like my ideal scary movie! It doesn't have that stupid blonde who walks towards the light. Or that deep voiced brunette who asks just screams cemented into place as the masked killer comes for her. Devil takes place in an elevator and it basically asks us to figure out who's not who they claim to be.
Although M. Night Shyamalan has failed me before (The Village, Lady In the Water) etc. I have faith that I will be entertained.

Hello! Hello!!

I'm finally back! I've returned a bit later than I had originally planned, but it's honestly because of the whole vacation, and the move in, and the new job. I've just been extremely extremely busy and overwhelmed.
But I'm here and I'm ready to start posting again! Although I've been away for so long, I don't have an incredible amount to post. But here's an overview of what's to come in the next hmmm few hours/day.

Hey! Hey!

Hey all! I haven't blogged for a few days, and I'm so sorry I'm just really busy but no worries I'm always thinking of my very great followers.

So what have I been up to you ask?...or not but I'm going to tell you anyways.

1. I've been applying/preparing for an internship for this fall. I've gotten through to the first round, so I'm very excited for that!
2. I've been packing, simultaneously, for Penn State and for my vacation which I'm leaving for very soon.
3. I'm also entering myself in this Forever21 contest! lol it just seemed like a lot of fun so I'm doing it. Right?! I mean why not do the things that I want to?

So as I said before I'm going on vacation on Sunday for a week, so I will not be blogging but I will come back with a blog talking about how fun it was and the blog will include pics. As well as pics of my apartment (at least parts of it) like my bunk and my closet etc.
I'll also do a blog post of the video that I'm making for the Forever21 contest I'm entering. That vid would count as a fashion post. :]

Ok so lovelies don't expect a post until, at the earliest, the 27th. I know that sounds like a ways away but it'll come in a jiffy. Uhm don't hold me entirely to this date, check back every now and then til then because I might do a hypebeast here and there :]

MTV Premieres!

Last night MTV premiered two highly anticipated music videos, Eminem ft. Rihanna- The Way You Lie at 9 p.m. and, the always controversial, Kanye West- Power at 11 p.m.
Kanye West's video was extremely shorter than the actual song, and reminded me of a mixture of 300 and Michael Angelo's painting in the Sistine Chapel. You guys know what I'm talking about right? Like a mixture of this

And then he had this life size gold owl hanging from his neck. But what really caught my eye was the halo with the sword through it that hung over his head. The video seriously personified power. It was pretty cool, not gonna lie, it was very...Kanye. So without further ado, here's Kanye West- Power.


Now Eminem's video featuring Rihanna also debuted last night. Now I like Eminem, but I'm not a fan of this song. The video was very Eminem-esque. Just a couple acting out what he was rapping. The only surprise factor in this video is the girl acting was Megan Fox! From Transformers to music videos, my how the mighty have fallen. Lol but it was a good video and correctly embodied or portrayed the broken and abusive relationship Eminem was trying put across in his song. So here's the video, hope you enjoy! :]

Social Network Trailer

ohmygosh! I am so excited to see this movie!! This movie is about the creators of facebook and how the wealth and fame tore them apart. The trailer is so great! And watching the trailer made me extra super hype about a certain song, which will be discussed in my next blog.

TV Wishlist!

Okay I'm so excited for the fall for soooo many reasons!! The first reason is that I'm going to be moving into my first apartment ever!!!! Gahhh!!! And the second reason is that t.v. is going to be amazing!! There are sooo many new television shows that I want to watch!

The first show on my TV Wishlist is: My Generation

My Generation looks ridiculously interesting! If you're reading this and you're around my age (20) then you can definitely relate to leaving high school and wondering what everyone is up to. You know, where are they now? Well My Generation is a show that filmed these high school students during their senior year (c/o 2000), asked them what they wanted to do and where they expect to be in the next ten years. Then they come back ten years later and film where they are now. Ok so this sounds like a reality show right? Wrong. My Generation is completely scripted,it's a documentary style drama to be exact, BUT that makes it that much more interesting because then the twists are better right?

The next show on my TV Wishlist is: No Ordinary Family
Ok so I'm pretty much in love with The Incredibles and this show reminds me of a real life version of the Incredibles lolol Ok so it's pretty different in many ways but still kinda the same idea. In No Ordinary Family there is, what most would say, a pretty normal family. A mom, a dad, son, and daughter. The mother is a workaholic, the son is always glued to the tv, the daughter is a chronic texter, and the dad is a stay at home dad. Since the dad is tired of being ignored by his constantly occupied family he decides to take them on a private tour of the rainforest. Their flight (in a private plane) crashes into a river and weird things begin to happen to them...can you guess what it is? lol



The Third Show on my TV Wishlist is: Scoundrels
Now Scoundrels isn't the kind of show that I would normally be into, but the trailer seems pretty interesting :] I feel as if I won't be disappointed though. The show is basically about a family of criminals, who decide to go clean. It's way more interesting than it sounds watch the trailer.

A-Team :D

Ok so this post is super duper late, but while I was in Virginia I saw A-Team. Now I know some girls don't like action movies but this was a very good movie!! The action was ridiculous! I was completely enthralled, I just wanted to see what the next crazy stunt was. It didn't hurt that Bradley Cooper (hunk from The Hangover) was one of the stars either. haha wink wink

Anywho it's a great movies for guys and girls. And girls if you're going on a date with your significant other I would definitely recommend this movie, it'll be great for him and good fun for you too. :]

Yay Kid Cudi!!

Kid Cudi is nominated for an MTV VMA (Best Hip Hop Video) for his song Pursuit of Happiness! :] Mr. Cudder is up against: B.O.B Airplanes, Jay-Z On to the Next One, Drake, Kanye West, Eminem, and Lil Wayne Forever, and Eminem Not Afraid.

I am so happy for Kid Cudi he definitely deserves to be nominated! He's up against a lot of big competition, so the best of luck to him.

Is Brett Favre Really Retiring?

Right before beginning his 20th NFL season Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has, for the umpteenth time, announced his retirement from the game. According to the Star Tribune Brett Favre began texting Vikings officials and friends last night to inform them of his decision.
If he does decide to retire the Vikings would still Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels, but compared to Favre they would be a bit of a disappointment. Last season Favre had, what many would say, the best season of his career; throwing 28 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Jackson and Rosenfels may take the Vikings far, but only Favre can bring them to the Super Bowl.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens for sure, because Brett Favre is no stranger to changing his mind.
